Electrical Generation
using PES's Clean Renewable Energy RNG
Conversion of annual U.S. landfill municipal solid waste & manure into PES clean renewable energy RNG to produce electricity could:
Provide more than 74,000 MW of additional generating capacity nationwide.
Generate from local power and local jobs the equivalent of 55 nuclear power plants of 1,350 MW each, the most common large units. That's enough power to charge 190 MILLION ELECTRIC vehicles every day.
Per the Energy Information Administration (EIA) in April of 2021: “At the end of 2020, there were 94 operating [nuclear] reactors with a combined generation capacity of about 96,555 MW”. By pyrolyzing all US garbage & manure, pyrolysis generating plants could add 74,000 MW of Green Energy to that total or increase generating capacity by over 75% when compared to nuclear power.
