What does PES's
Pyrogenic Gasification Produce?
RNG Fuel
Produces clean renewable energy fuel, RNG. Represents 90% of input volume.
Typical RNG composition is: hydrogen, methane, carbon monoxide, ethylene, ethane, carbon dioxide, trace fuels and nitrogen.
Clean Emissions
Uses clean methanes, ethylene, ethanes, hydrogen and some carbon monoxide gases as fuel.
No harmful gases released into the atmosphere. The only emissions are carbon dioxide (CO2) and water vapor (H2O) The CO2 can be sequestered and sold for use in plastics and other industries, releasing only water vapor into atmosphere.
RNG is a renewable energy resource. Its production-and-use cycle is continuous thus generating NO NET CARBON DIOXIDE.
Solid Materials
Solid residue typically consists of metals, silicon, inorganics, and carbonaceous char. Represents only 10% of input volume.
Materials separated automatically.
Reduced to < 25% of pregasification weight and to < 10% of pregasification volume
The char can be used in-plant to purify process water or as a filler in asphalt & concrete.
The remaining products can be sold, recycled, or landfilled.
